Inaugural G. Michael Perry Softball Tournament scheduled in Casper

Casper (Special Olympics) -- Through the generosity of the G. Michael Perry family and their establishment of the G. Michael Perry fund; Special Olympics Wyoming is excited to announce the return of Team Softball competition to the summer! 

The inaugural G. Michael Perry Softball Tournament will start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, at North Casper Softball Complex.  Currently registered to participate are 5 Unified Sports® Teams; 3 Traditional Special Olympics Teams and 18 Individual Skills athletes.

Programs participating in this year's G. Michael Perry Softball Tournament hail from: Cheyenne, Laramie, Gillette, Sheridan, and Casper.

Please don't miss this opportunity to cheer on Special Olympics Wyoming athletes as they develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. 

Special Olympics Wyoming is in need of volunteers to help keep score, report measurements and times and award medals.  Please contact our office if you could volunteer some of your time between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6th.
